The Innovation School elementary and middle school program is an inquiry-based school model serving students in grades K-8. Instruction for each student takes into account their learning style, preferences, multiple intelligence strengths, brain dominance, interests and passions. We prioritize hands-on, project-based learning using performance-based assessments and student portfolios to measure proficiency and ensure a deeper understanding of concepts.
We hold Roundtables three times a year, where students go through their Growth Reflections, sharing their progress, challenges, and goals with their parents and teacher. We don’t follow a one-size-fits-all curriculum; instead, we design flexible, interdisciplinary learning experiences guided by educational standards to ensure students become proficient in the same skills as their peers while meeting their unique needs and interests.
